Driver’s Education                                                                                6 hours                                   0 credits

      Driver Education consists of 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction in the safe and efficient use of an automobile.  Also includes instruction on the motor vehicle code in lab setting.   Students should register for Driver’s Education in the Principal’s office.  (Students must be 16 years or older & have your Learner’s permit or Driver’s license.)

Vocational Cooperative Education (Fall & Spring)                semester                           .5 credits

     Co-op is a school-supervised work program.  Its purpose is to help the student “bridge the gap” between school and the world of work.  Students are placed on school-approved work sites where they learn and develop the skills necessary to survive on the job.  Students will develop skills in the following areas:  how to get a job, employer-employee relationships, money management, personal safety and other skills necessary for survival on the job.  Interested students must complete paperwork before participating in this program and receiving any credits.  (Grade 12)
