This year 2011-2012, my language arts class participated in READ ACROSS THE PLANET. This program provides the opportunity for students to get "excited" about reading and language arts. By participating in this program, students and teachers work closely together to present a "story" or interesting activity to another school located somewhere around the world.

Our language arts class worked diligently for two weeks, preparing to present the play, "Red Writing Hood". My students not only memorized their lines, but completely impressed me as well as students from across the country with their stellar performances.
