COURSE OUTLINE
The primary objectives of this class are:
1. To recognize and appreciate the role and importance music plays in each of
our lives.
2. To further develop our already existing perceptive and critical listening skills.
3. To be more receptive to a greater variety of musical styles, expanding beyond
what one is already comfortable with.

MUSIC 10, ROOM A133 2018-2019 CELL PHONE POLICY
Cell phones and all other personal electronic devices should be turned off and placed in the phone rack on the way into the classroom at the beginning of Block 1. Phones will stay in the rack until the end of class. Students may not take phones with them to go to the bathroom or lockers.
Mr. O’Brien will cover the class during Enrichment on Day 1 (eat Lunch C). During Enrichment, students may have their cell phones out; they may not use phones to take pictures or video, and earbuds must be used when listening to music.
