COUNTY BAND

The 59th Annual Carbon County Band Festival will be at Weatherly Area High School March 12-14, 2019. Concert Band members with good attendance records, positive attitudes, a willingness to learn, and who are members of Marching Band are eligible to participate as long as they are not academically ineligible. As this is an "honors band" experience, not all band members are selected; musical ability will be the primary criterion; it is possible that a senior could be selected over an underclassman with a higher seat if that senior has not already had the opportunity to participate.

Students may ride the bus to school as usual all three days. We will not return to PAHS in time to ride the bus home the first two days; therefore, transportation home from school must be arranged (pick up around 3:15). The final day, parents must pick up their children after the evening concert at Weatherly.

Lunch is provided all three days. Uniforms must be taken along on Thursday (no hats or gloves). There will be a banquet supper the last day. The concert will start at 7:00 pm; admission will be $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors.

The 59th Annual Carbon County Band Festival will be held on March 12-14, 2019, at Weatherly Area High School. The concert will be Thursday, March 14, at 7:00 p.m. (Snow make up date is Friday, March 15.) Admission is $5/$3.
