The PSAT/NMSQT test (pre-SAT) will be administered to those 10th & 11th grade students who have registered prior to the test date.  This test will be administered periods 1-4 at the Port Allegany High School.  It is recommended those 10th & 11th grade students whose intention it is to attend college after graduation take this test.  The fee of $15.00 is to be paid on or before the October 19, 2016 test date.

Any student who registered and DOES NOT wish to take the test should see Mrs. Benson in the School Counseling Office before Friday September 23rd.  If the student decides after this date, there will be a fee of $7.50 charged to cover the cost of the test.

Your Child can obtain the following benefits from taking the "Practice" SAT

• Detailed Score report outlining individual strengths/weaknesses
• Breakdown of Right and Wrong answers, as well as, if the questions were Easy, Medium, or Hard
• Percentile Breakdown of scores (to see how you compare Nationally)
• This test acts as the Qualifying Test for the National Merit Scholarship
• Access to an On-line Individual Score Improvement Plan !!!
