Glendale School District Health and Physical Education
Glendale School District is a member of the nrg Balance Zone and they participate in the Great Apple Crunch and the Go for the Greens.
Glendale School District was awarded the Carol M. White PEP Grant in 2007. With the grant money, the school district replaced the weight equipment with new Nautlius equipment. Also the new cardio room was equipped with Nautilus treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, and stair climbers. Some other items purchased were the SPARK program and equipment, HOPSPORTS and the Microfit System.

In 2007 the Glendale School District was awarded a Highmark Healthy High 5 Grant. With the grant an Outdoor Fitness Course was built by the Tech Ed teachers, students and the maintenance staff. See pictures from before and after construction.

Glendale Elementary Physical Education
Students in grades K-6 participated in Jump Rope for Heart during physical education class. They raiseda total of $1,315.00 for the American Heart ASsociation. See some photos
