There are also two subpages, which show a list of children’s literature that relate to the topic, as well as vocabulary. These resources can be used at home to give extra practice on the subject. 1. Clock Wise

Type: Telling Time.

Description: This website challenges the visitor to guess the correct time displayed by a digital clock. The students can choose a difficulty level to be challenged even further. Visitors can keep track of the correct answers they have earned, throughout the three levels available. This website can be used by students to practice telling time. It is very easy to use.

2. How High

Type: Volume, Recognizing Shapes, Properties of Shapes.

Description: This website asks for the student to predict how much liquid will be poured from one container to another. The containers come in varies shapes; including a rectangular tank, cylinder, cone take, and regular cone. The students should be given the formulas of these shapers beforehand, so they can solve how much liquid can be poured into the opposite container. The website does not provide the formula for the visitor. If a student uses this website without the formulas, they will only be guessing amounts. This will not benefit the child at all.

3. Perimeter Explorer

Type: Perimeter, Recognizing Shapes, Properties of Shapes.

Description: This website provides a student with practice in figuring out the perimeter of random shapes. A grid is displayed that shows a colored shape. The visitor must use their knowledge of how to solve for a shapes perimeter, to get the correct answer for the shape being displayed. The students score is kept track of, as they their way through this activity. This site allows the perfect opportunity for children to practice their perimeter solving skills.

4. Count the Money

Type: Calculating Money Amounts.

Description: This simple site provides students with practice counting money. The website displays a certain amount of money, displaying dollar bills and coins, and the visitor is instructed to guess the correct amount. Students can choose to participate in three categories; “How Much Money”, where they guess how much money is being displayed, “Pay Exact Amount”, where they are instructed to drag the exact amount of money into a box, or “Make a Dollar”, where the student decides which coins can be used to equal exactly one dollar. This website is beneficial in that it is of easy use, and provides an abundant amount of practice.

5. Image Tool

Type: Angles, Distance.

Description: This website provides images to the visitor that points can be plotted on. These points can be combined to make angles or show the measurement of certain distances. Area can also be calculated on this website. This tool can be used for student practice in understanding the concept of distance and area. The only limitation with this website is the size of the images and the lack of many pictures.
